Well, this isn't really the most amazing display of creativity, but it was hubby's birthday last week and as always we had the 'what shall we buy him dilema' that ends up with us heading off to an expensive Gentleman's shop in Cirencester and buying socks and pants.
Given the inevitability of the gift, this year I decided I'd go about presenting them to him in a slightly different manner. Since we ended up with a rather colourful collection of clothing I decided to hang everything on the washing line, along with classic, pastel party ring biscuits. When hubby returned home from work he found a little note asking him to take down the washing - 'great birthday' thought he, but there was afternoon tea, balloons and presents all waiting for him beneath the underwear bunting.
