All the winners got a handmade rosette, which we made by sewing several rounds of fabroc together with a button in the centre and some ribbon and ric rac to hang down. It was lovely to see so many being worn at the evening barbeque.
Based in the Cotswolds, near Stroud, we met when we were both pregnant with our first child. Despite going on to have 5 children between us we soon realised that we had much more in common than just 'the kids'. Play dates became an opportunity to discuss recipes, gardening tips, view Sarah's designs, talk about new trends. Soon we were recommending blogs to each other and eventually realised we should start our own.
We hope you enjoy what we have to say,
Sarah & Jo

ReplyDeleteI agree! It is a great tradition. Ours is in 2 weeks time. Guess which stall I am running???? Yep, you guessed it, the clothes stall! Lizzie x
ReplyDeleteI love the auctioning off of produce at the end of ours. Such laughter as outrageous prices are paid for produce and the cut throat bidding is a hoot!
